ORDER
1. The present application is filed by applicant Akib Anjum
Siddiqui for return of vehicle i.e. WagonR bearing No.MH01CR1544,
seized by the BKC police Station in C.R.No.217/2020 registered
u/sec.188, 269 of IPC with 51 of Disaster Management Act.
2. The applicant is claiming custody of the vehicle. He did not
produce registration certificate of the vehicle. He was directed to
furnish the same. However, he has not produced RC till date.
Therefore, it is difficult to ascertain as to who is the registered owner of
the vehicle. RC is essential to decide the claim of the applicant. The
applicant failed to substantiate his claim for custody of the vehicle.
Hence, the application deserves to be rejected. Hence following order.
ORDER
The application is rejected.
