ORDER BELOW EXH.1
1. Today accused appeared before Jail Court. The accused pleaded
guilty to the offence.
2. He is totally make aware of the consequences of the pleading guilty
to the offence. Despite that he is ready to plead guilty. His plea is
voluntary.
3. The accused has consumed Ganja. Heard him on the point of
sentence. He is in jail since 12.03.2022. He prayed for leniency.
Considering the nature of offence, the property involved and the period
undergone by the accused, following order :
ORDER
A. Accused is convicted under Section 241 of the Code of Criminal
Procedure, for an offence punishable under Section 8 (c) r/w 27 of
Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 and sentenced to
suffer simple imprisonment for twenty six days.
B. He is entitled to set off as per Section 428 of the Code of Criminal
Procedure. As he is in jail since 12.03.2022, the punishment has already
been undergone by him, therefore, he shall be released forthwith if not
required in any other offence.
C. Copy of this order to be given free of cost to the accused.
