Cross examination of CW-1 – Mrs. Bernice Freddy Misquitta by advocate Mr. R.A.Shaikh for the accused : 23. Now I am shown cheques produced at Exh.18 to 21. I do not remember who gave said cheques to me. I know name of the accused. He is some Shukla. I do not know anything. My son knows better than me. I never seen accused. My son had interaction with accused. It is true to say that my son deposited above cheques for realization in my bank account. Demand notice was also given by my son. I do not remember dates of the cheques. I know the amounts mentioned in the cheques. It is some Rs.42 lakhs. I am not aware whether accused had replied to my demand notice. Now I am shown copy of demand notice dated 15.12.2021 produced at Exh.28. It bears signature of my son. I do not know name company of accused Shukla. It is true to say that Mr. Shukla never gave above cheques directly to me. It is true to say that complaint and evidence is filed by my son. Cross examination is over. No Re-examination. R.O.A.C. (M.
