Today, both the accused are appeared before me and made
application for pleading guilty at Exh-3. They have submitted that they
wants to plead guilt. They are identified by their advocate. Particulars of
offence is framed against them, to which they voluntarily pleaded guilty.
Heard accused in person. They submitted that lenient view may be taken
as they are only earning member in his family. Considering the nature of
offence, circumstances under which it is committed, antecedents of the
accused & his age, I proceed to pass following order :
O R D E R
1. Both the accused are hereby convicted for the offence under 84 of
Maharashtra Prohibition Act and sentenced to pay fine of Rs. 3,500/-
(Rupees Three Thousand Five Hundred only) each, and in default
of payment of fine, to suffer simple imprisonment for 20 (Twenty)
days.
2. Seized muddemal be preserved for trial of accused No.1.
