ORDER BELOW EXH. 1
1] The applicant Hema Nayi is praying for direction to
respondent to register her birth.
2] The applicant submitted that, she was born on
05.04.1970 at home. Due to ignorance, entry regarding her birth was
not taken within one year from the birth. Hence, the present
application is filed.
3] The applicant produced on record copies Aadhar, School
Leaving Certificate, Affidavit of her mother, Ration Card, Election
Card and Aadhar of her mother.
4] The respondent reported that birth of the applicant could
not be confirmed as stated by her. Further, all the documents except
school leaving certificate show that she is residing at Kandivali (W).
Her mother's documents also show the same address. Though it is
mentioned in the school leaving certificate that the place of birth of
the applicant is Santacruz, said document is not a verified document
and thus, cannot be relied upon. There is nothing on record to show
that the applicant was born at home in Santacruz. Further, she has
also not stated the address where her parents were residing at the
time of her birth. Merely mentioning that she was born at home at
Santacruz will not suffice the purpose. Her mother's affidavit is also
silent on this point. In view of this discussion, the application
deserves to be rejected. Hence, following order.

The application is rejected.
