ORDER BELOW EXH. 1
1] Applicant praying for direction to respondent to register the
death of his grand mother namely Baijubai Dharma Shirke. He
submitted that, on 25/03/2021 his grand mother namely Baijubai
Dharma Shirke died. However, entry regarding her death was not
taken with the office of respondent. He requires death certificate of his
grand mother. Hence, this application is filed. Applicant in support of
his contention has filed Medical Certificate of deceased Baijubai
Dharma Shirke issued by Municipal Corporation of Mumbai.
2] Respondent did not dispute that on dated 25/03/2021 the
grand mother of the applicant was expired and the entry thereto was
not taken in the concerned register. Considering the Medical Certificate
of deceased Baijubai Dharma Shirke issued by Municipal Corporation of
Mumbai it appears that the date of the death of Baijubai Dharma Shirke
is correctly mentioned. Admittedly, after the death of Baijubai Dharma
Shirke the entry thereto was not taken in the concerned register even
after laps of more than 02 years. Respondent needs to be directed to do
so. Hence, the following order is passed.

1] Application is allowed.
2] On payment of requisite charges respondent is directed to
take entry regarding the date of death of Baijubai Dharma
Shirke, as on 25/03/2021 in the concerned register.
