ORDER BELOW APPLICATION FOR REGISTRATION OF BIRTH
1] This is an application filed by applicant Nagesh Manohar Shinde
with contention that his daughter Aditi Nagesh Shinde was born on
15/09/2008 at the above mentioned address i.e. at home. Due to unaware of
B.M.C.'s rules birth of his daughter could not get registered with concern BMC
authorities within the stipulated period.
2] The respondent i.e. Medical Officer of Health, G/North Ward,
Dadar W, Mumbai has filed report and submitted that the birth of Aditi born on
15/09/2008 to Smt. Amruta Nagesh Shinde and Mr. Nagesh Manohar Shinde is
not registered with this office. He further submitted that to scrutinize the
proposal and necessary order be passed.
3] Alongwith this application, the applicant has filed on record his
affidavit stating every facts as per his application and enclosed copy of bonafide
certificate, vaccination card of the daughter of applicant as well as Aadhaar
card of the applicant and his wife, ration card etc. The applicant has also filed
on record joint affidavit of witnesses Smt. Krushnabai Manohar Ingale and Smt.
Uma Ramesh Ingale.

4] On perusing the affidavit, documents of the applicant in support of
his application and report of BMC, this Court did not find any hesitation to
accept that 15/09/2008 is true and correct date of birth of daughter of
applicant. Hence, proceed to pass following order.
ORDER
1] The application is allowed.
2] The concern authority 'The Registrar, Birth and Death, G/North
Ward, Dadar (W), Mumbai – 400 028' is directed to take entry of the date of
birth i.e. 15/09/2008 (Fifteen September Two Thousand Eight) of Aditi Nagesh
Shinde daughter of Mr. Nagesh Manohar Shinde and Mrs. Amruta Nagesh
Shinde, in their register on accepting the fees as per the rules.
