No.3946/Misc./2024 ORDER BELOW EXH- 1 Accused filed present application for seeking permission for no objection for renewal of passport for a period of Ten years. 2. Learned APP for State and the Investigating Officer filed say and submitted that if the application is granted, the accused will run away from the proceeding. 3. The applicant is seeking for No Objection for renewal of passport. No permission to travel abroad is sought in present application. Therefore imposing any conditions or restrictions for renewal of passport is against the settled legal position. In this scenario, this Court does not find any obstacle in granting this No objection which normally should be for ten years. Thus for the -- 1 of 2 -- C.C.No.1652/Misc./2026 CNR No.MHMM110081912026 aforesaid reasons application deserves to be allowed. Hence, the following order. ORDER 1 This Court is having no objection to renew passport of the applicant Neil Kirit Somaiya for the period of Ten years as per the rules of the Passport Act if the applicant is entitled for the same.
