ORDER
1. This Chamber Summons is filed by plaintiff and requested to
allow substituted service of summons by way of publication into local
newspaper for the appearance of defendant. In support of Chamber
Summons he has filed affidavit. Roznama dated 25/3/2019 disclosed
that the summons returned unserved because addressee is not
traceable. Therefore, the plaintiff has requested for substituted service
of summons.
2. Record disclosed that the defendant is resident from Mumbai. As
per Roznama the defendant is not traceable. Therefore, it is desirable to

allow substituted service of summons under Order V(Rule 17) and
under Order V (Rule 20). It is also necessary for plaintiff to paste
summons in conspicuous place that is in the Courthouse in the office of
collector etc. Accordingly, following order is passed:
ORDER
1. Chamber Summons No.2230/2019 is made absolute.
2. Plaintiff is directed to issue summons by paper publication
which is widely circulated as well as under Order V (Rule
17) and under Order V (20).
3. Chambers Summons No.2230/2019 stands disposed of
accordingly.
