ORAL ORDER
1) The chamber summons is filed by the plaintiff to
amend the title of the plaint that the plaintiff bank is merged
with Bank of Baroda. The chamber summons is supported by
affidavit of Mr. Rahul Modak, Manager of plaintiff bank. He
stated on oath that by notification dt. 02.01.2019 issued by
Government of India the plaintiff bank stands merged with bank
of Baroda with effect from 01.04.2019. Hence prayed to allow
the chamber summons.
2) The plaintiff has annexed the notification of
Government of India dt. 02.01.2019 to show that the plaintiff
bank is merged with Bank of Baroda and the said merger will
come into effect from 01.04.2019. Therefore the chamber

summons needs to be allowed as the plaintiff bank is merged
with Bank of Baroda. Hence pass following order:
ORDER
1. The Chamber summons is made
absolute as per prayer (a).
2. The plaintiff to carryout necessary
amendment within the period of
limitation.
3. Accordingly Chamber summons is
disposed of.
4. The chamber summons be registered
for statistical purpose.
