ORDER
Perused Chamber Summons and record in Suit No.5792 of
2007.
Heard Ld counsel for plaintiff U.S.Shetty.
In view of notification vide Order No.G.S.R.158(E) of the
Government of India published in the gazette of India extra
ordinary dated 22.02.2017. Plaintiff bank merged with State Bank
of India with effect from 01.04.2017. As per the said notification
all the legal proceeding which is pending before appropriate forum
shall be continued by State Bank of India. The above said suit is
filed by plaintiff in the name of State Bank of Mysore . However,
after the issuance of notification the present suit legally transfer to
the State Bank of India and therefore, it is necessary for the
plaintiff to amend cause title of plaint and hence, the amendment

is required to be necessary. If the said amendment is allowed
certainly no prejudice is caused to the other side. Hence, I proceed
to pass following order.
ORDER
1) Chamber Summons No.1729/19 is allowed.
2) Plaintiff is permitted to amend cause title within 14 days.
3) After amendment plaintiff has directed to file copy of plaint.
4) Chamber summons no. 1729/2019 be disposed of in above
term.
