ORDER
Perused Chamber Summons and record in suit no 1582 of
2018.
Heard Ld. counsel for plaintiff Archana Sapkal.
In view of Government Notification/Gazette registered bearing no.
D.L. 33004/99 dated 02.01.2019 issued by Government of India.
Plaintiff bank merged with Bank of Baroda with effect from
01.04.2019. As per the said notification all the legal proceeding
which is pending before appropriate forum shall be continued by
Bank of Baroda. The above said suit is filed by plaintiff in the name
of Dena Bank. However, after the issuance of notification the

present suit legally transfer to the Bank of Baroda and therefore,
it is necessary for the plaintiff to amend the cause title of plaint
and hence the amendment is required to be necessary. If the said
amendment is allowed certainly no prejudice is caused to the other
side. Hence, I proceed to pass following order.
ORDER
1) Chamber summons no. 1724/19 is allowed.
2) Plaintiff is permitted to amend cause title within 14 days.
3) After amendment plaintiff has directed to file copy of plaint.
4) Chamber summons no. 1724/2019 be disposed of in above
term.
