ORDER
The present chamber summons is taken out by the plaintiff for
amendment in its title.
2. Perused chamber summons and affidavit in support of it. Heard
Ld. Advocate Mr. Pai for the plaintiff. He submits that after filing of the
present suit the name of the plaintiff’s name of the plaintiff's company
has been changed from ‘Anchor Electricals Private Limited’ to ‘Panasonic
Life Solutions India Private Limited’. He further submits that
amendment in the title of the plaint is essential, so as to proceed in the

matter. Separate schedule is annexed along with affidavit. Pointing out
the amendment require the amendment.
3. The defendant is yet not served. The amendment sought is
technical one. The copy of the certificate of incorporation pursuant to
change of name dated 03/04/2019 is also placed on record at Exhibit-B.
4. As such, it is clear that the plaintiff company had changed its
name and therefore consequent amendment needs to be carried out.
Hence, the order.
ORDER
1. Chamber Summons No. 1646/19 is allowed in terms of prayer
clause (a).
2. Plaintiff to carry out amendment within 14 days from the date of
this order and file amended plaint on record.
3. Chamber summons No.1646/19 is disposed of accordingly.
