Perused Chamber Summons and record in Suit No.904 of 2017.
Heard Ld.Counsel for plaintiff Karuna Adangale
In view of Government Notification issued dated 02/01/2019.
Plaintiff bank merged with Bank of Baroda with effect from
01/04/2019. As per the said notification all the legal proceeding which
is pending before appropriate forum shall be continued by Bank of
Baroda. The above said suit is filed by plaintiff in the name of Dena
Bank. However, after the issuance of notification the present suit is
legally transferred to the Bank of Baroda and therefore, it is necessary
for the plaintiff to amend the cause title of plaint and hence, the
amendment is required to be necessary. If the said amendment is
allowed certainly no prejudice is caused to the other side. Hence, I
proceed to pass following order.

ORDER
1) Chamber Summons No.1502 of 2019 is allowed.
2) Plaintiff is permitted to amend cause title within 14 days.
3) After amendment plaintiff has directed to file copy of plaint.
4) Chamber Summons no.1502 of 2019 be disposed of in the above
terms.
