Heard Ld.Counsel for plaintiff Karuna Adangale. In view of Government Notification/Gazette registered No.G.S.R.2(E) dated 02/01/2019. Plaintiff bank has been merged with Bank of Baroda with effect from 01/04/2019. As per the said notification all the legal proceeding which is pending before appropriate forum shall be continued by Bank of Baroda. The above said suit is filed by plaintiff in the name of Dena Bank. However, after issuance of notification the present suit is legally transferred to the Bank of Baroda and therefore, it is necessary for -- 1 of 2 -- 2 the plaintiff to amend cause title of plaint and hence amendment is required to be necessary. If the said amendment is allowed certainly no prejudice will be caused to the case of other side. Thus, I proceed to pass following order. ORDER 1) Chamber Summons is allowed. 2) Plaintiff is permitted to amend cause title within 14 days. 3) After amendment plaintiff has directed to file copy of plaint. 3) Chamber Summons No. 1503 of 2019 be disposed of in the above terms.
