ORAL ORDER
1. This chamber summons has been tendered by the
plaintiffs to amend title clause of the plaint.
2. Ld. Counsel for the plaintiff submitted that in the
title clause the name of plaintiff no.3 is inadvertently
or by typographical error mentioned as M/s.Staford
Hotel private Limited. The plaintiffs wish to correct
the name of plaintiff no.3 as 'M/s. Straford Hotel
Private Limited.'
3. Ld. Counsel for the defendant has not filed any
written objection, but during the course of
arguments, Ld. Counsel for the defendant submitted
that plaintiffs want to fill up the lacuna and therefore

chamber summons needs to be rejected.
4. The plaintiffs have filed the certified copy of
certificate of Incorporation issued by the Registrar of
Companies wherein also the name of plaintiff no.3 is
as Straford Hotel Private Limited. The amendment
appears to be correction of typographical error and it
does not change the nature of pleadings. No
prejudice would be caused to the defendant if the
present chamber summons is considered. Hence, it is
expedient to pass following order:
ORDER
1. Chamber Summons No. 1488/2019 is allowed in
terms of prayer clause (a) and (b).
2. Costs in the cause.
2. Plaintiff to carry out necessary amendment within
one week from today.
3. Chamber Summons is disposed of accordingly.
