ORAL ORDER
1. This Chamber Summons is taken out by the plaintiff for
amendment in the title of plaint, in respect of name of defendant from

Parshuram S. Sampat to Parshuram Sampat Pawar.
2. Read the application and heard. It appears that the name of
defendant is typed as “Parshuram S. Sampat” in the title clause of the
plaint, instead of “Parshuram Sampat Pawar”. It appears that it is a
typographical mistake and if the application is allowed to correct the
said typographical mistake, no prejudice would caused to the defendant
as he is yet to be served with the suit summons. Considering the nature
of amendment, the interest of justice requires to allow the Ch/sum, In
the result following order :
ORDER
1. Chamber summons no.801/18 is allowed.
2. The plaintiff is permitted to correct the name of defendant
from “Parshuram S. Sampat” to “Parshuram Sampat Pawar”
and the plaintiff is directed to carry out the said amendment
in the title clause of the plaint on or before the next date,
without fail.
3. After carrying out the amendment, it is for the plaintiff to
serve the suit summons effectively on the defendant, through
Court.
4. Chamber Summons no.801/18 is disposed of accordingly.
