ORAL ORDER
UPON READING the petition of Indian Association for
Promotion of Adoption & Child Welfare, the Petitioners abovenamed
and of Mr. BALAJI N. IYER and Mrs. SHILPA B. IYER the Copetitioners
abovenamed declared on the 30th day of April, 2019. AND UPON
READING the consent of the Copetitioners AND ON committing the
Female minor ANEEKA BALAJI IYER on 30th day of April, 2019 to the
preadoption foster care of the Copetitioners by the Petitioners Indian
Association for Promotion of Adoption & Child Welfare, Flat No.7,
Kanara Brotherhood Coop. Hsg. Society, Mogul Lane, Matunga (W),
Mumbai 400 016 AND UPON READING THE Affidavit of the
Authorized Signatory of Indian Association for Promotion of Adoption &
Child Welfare, AND UPON HEARING Mr. Hareendran, the
representative of the said Indian Council of Social Welfare AND UPON
hearing Mrs. Leena Nichani, Advocate for the Petitioners and Co
petitioners AND UPON the Copetitioners through their said Advocate
undertaking to produce the said minor whenever called upon to do so
AND FURTHER undertaking to present followup reports of the said
Female minor ANEEKA BALAJI IYER to this Hon'ble Court. AND UPON
being satisfied that the adoption will be for the welfare of the said
minor AND UPON being satisfied that the conditions for adoption are
fulfilled. I DO ORDER THAT the Copetitioners as guardian of the said
Female minor ANEEKA BALAJI IYER referred to in the Petition as being
born on 28th day of November, 2018, is hereby given permission to give

the said minor ANEEKA BALAJI IYER in adoption to themselves. AND I
DO FURTHER DECLARE that the Birth date of the said Female minor is
28th day of November, 2018 as referred to in the Petition. AND I DO
FURTHER ORDER that they are hereby granted leave to apply to the
Municipal Authorities who are hereby ORDERED to issue a Birth
Certificate of the said minor ANEEKA BALAJI IYER born on 28th day of
November, 2018, showing the Copetitioners Mr. BALAJI N. IYER as the
father and his wife Mrs. SHILPA B. IYER as the mother respectively.
AND I DO FURTHER ORDER that the Copetitioners are hereby granted
leave to make application to the passport authorities or any other
authorities as parents of the minor. AND I DO FURTHER ORDER that
the Copetitioners are hereby granted leave to remove the said minor
personally from the jurisdiction of this Hon'ble Court AND I DO LASTLY
ORDER that the Copetitioners do pay a sum of Rupees Two Thousand
Five Hundred only to the Indian Council of Social Welfare, Mumbai
towards their costs.
