On perusing roznama, it appears that the matter was adjourned
for hearing on Summons for Judgment No.142/2018 on
12/07/2023. Further, it appears that the plaintiff is absence since
12/07/2023 till date and failed to take steps to file the original
documents and make hearing on SJ. The plaintiff was given ample
opportunity to conduct the matter. The suit is of the year 2017. It
is a old matter. It appears that plaintiff is not interested in
conducting the Summons for Judgment as well as proceed in the
suit. Even, today plaintiff is absent. The counsel for the defendant
is present. As plaintiff has failed to take steps, no purpose would
serve by keeping the Summons for Judgment and suit pending.
Hence, I proceed to pass following order:
ORDER
Summons for Judgment No.142/2018 and Suit No.737/2017 are
dismissed for want of prosecution.
