1. By this chamber summons, plaintiffs are seeking amendment of
plaint. The defendant has not filed reply.
2. Heard Ld. Counsel for the parties. Perused the record.
3. By this chamber summons, plaintiffs are seeking to add one
paragraph in respect of the Municipal Assessment of the suit premises
and are also seeking permission to delete part of the plaint which was
relevant when the matter was pending in Small Causes Court. It appears
that the proposed amendment is required in view of the fact that
originally the suit was filed in Small Causes Court and later the plaint
was returned and it is filed in this Court. The proposed amendment does

not change the nature of the suit and it is necessary for effective
adjudication of suit. Hence, the following order.
ORDER
1. Chamber summons no.625/2018 is made absolute in terms
of prayer clause (a).
2. Necessary amendment be carried out as per the schedule
annexed to the chamber summons within two weeks.
3. Plaintiff is directed to file amended copy of the plaint in
Court till next date with copy to other side.
