Perused the application(Exh-7) moved by the plaintiff for permitting to serve the writ of summons on the defendant by way of substitute service. It is stated that the defendant was not found on his last known address. Bailiff report suggests that the defendant has given his premises on rent and went to reside somewhere at Chembur. Having regard to the Bailiff report and the submission of the plaintiff that the address on which the attempt was made to serve the writ of summons is the last know address, I find sufficient ground to allow the application.
