ORDER
1. Heard learned Advocate for the plaintiff and learned Advocate for
the defendant corporation.
2. The plaintiff by this Chamber Summons seeks to amend the plaint
by adding para 6 (a) in the plaint. It is the case of the plaintiff that
during the pendency of the suit he had received documents from The
Rent Controller and sought to produce those documents by way of an
amendment in the plaint.

3. The chamber summons is opposed by the defendant corporation.
4. The trial has not commenced. A party should be permitted to
lead best possible evidence. No prejudice would be caused to the
defendant corporation. The amendment sought needs to be allowed as
to avoid multiplicity of the suit. In the interest of justices, chamber
summons needs to be allowed, subject to Cost of Rs. 1000/-(Rs. One
Thousand Only). The said cost to be paid to the District Legal Services
Authority. In the result, following order is passed.
ORDER
1. Chamber Summons No. 239 of 2020 is allowed, subject to Cost of
Rs. 1000/-(Rs. One Thousand Only). The said cost to be paid to the
District Legal Services Authority.
2. The plaintiff to carry out the necessary amendment in the plaint
within 14 days from date of order.
3. Chamber Summons stands disposed off.
