The present Chamber Summons is filed by the plaintiff for amendment in the name of the plaintiff bank. The plaintiff bank has merged with Canara Bank by notification Dt. 04.03.2020 issued by the Government of India. The copy of notification is annexed with the Chamber Summons.
I have perused the record. The plaintiff bank has merged with Canara Bank therefore, its name needs to be substitued in place of plaintiff bank.  If the proposed amendment is allowed then there will be no change in the nature of suit hence, I proceed to pass the following order.
Therefore, following order is passed.

2)	The plaintiff is permitted to carry out the amendment in the plaint and cause title of the plaint and file the amended plaint on record.
