ORDER
Perused Chamber Summons and affidavit in support.
Ld. counsel for defendant tendered written say. It is
submitted that the said application may be rejected with costs.
Heard Ld counsel for plaintiff Karuna Adangale and
Advocate R.R.Joshi for defendant.
In view of Government notification issued dated 02.01.2019.
Plaintiff bank merged with Bank of Baroda with effect from
01.04.2019. As per the said notification all the legal proceeding
which is pending before appropriate forum shall be continued by
Bank of Baroda. The above said suit is filed by plaintiff in the name

of Dena Bank. However, after the issuance of notification the
present suit legally transfer to the Bank of Baroda and therefore,
it is necessary for the plaintiff to amend the clause title of plaint
and hence, the amendment is required to be necessary. If the said
amendment is allowed certainly no prejudice is caused to the other
side. Hence, I proceed to pass following order.
ORDER
1) Chamber Summons No.64 of 2020 is allowed.
2) Plaintiff is permitted to amend clause title as per schedule
within 14 days.
3) After amendment plaintiff has directed to file copy of plaint.
4) Chamber Summons No.64 of 2020 be disposed of in above
term.
