Karan Verma, Ld. Counsels for accused Surender Thakur with accused. Prima facie offence U/s 285 BNS is made out against the accused person. Notice framed accordingly, to which he pleaded guilty. In view of plea of guilt of accused, accused is hereby convicted for offence under section 285 BNS. Arguments heard on the point of sentence. It is submitted by the convict that he is poor person and is repentant of his act therefore a lenient view may be taken while sentencing him. In the light of the above facts and circumstances of the case and by balancing the mitigating or extenuating and aggravating factors, I am of the considered opinion that convict Surender Thakur be sentenced to pay fine to the tune of Rs. 200/- for offence U/s 285 BNS. Sentenced accordingly. Fine paid. Bail bond of convict if any stands cancelled. Surety discharged. Documents if any be returned after cancellation of endorsement.
