Present : Sh. Munish Chhokar, Ld. Counsel for the plaintiff.
Sh. Man Mohan Singh, Ld. Counsel for the defendant alongwith defendant
in person.
The matter is fixed for remaining evidence of the plaintiff. Today the Ld.
Counsel for the plaintiff has appeared and seeks adjournment on the ground that the
witness of the plaintiff namely Sh. Chaman Singh is residing away somewhere in
Baghpat or Baraut and the said areas are affected with the flood, so, he is unable to
appear in the court. Ld. Counsel for the defendant has vehemently opposed the
adjournment sought by the counsel for the plaintiff. However, in view request made by
the counsel for the plaintiff and in the interest of justice, adjournment is granted, but,
subject to condition that the Sh. Chaman Singh (witness of the plaintiff) will produce the
proof of living at Baghpat or Baraut which stated to be flood affected area, failing which,
heavy cost will be imposed on the plaintiff for non leading evidence today. Matter is
ordered to be listed for remaining evidence of the plaintiff. To come up on 14.11.2025.
