that Omvati is old aged, therefore, she could not appear today.
Omwati was lastly examined in the court on 08.05.2026,
thereafter, her further examintion could not take place since on
one of the dates i.e. 08.06.2026, exemption application was filed
on her behalf on the ground of illness and thereafter, on
03.09.2026, she was present in the court but did not step into the
witness box again on the ground of her illness. Today, again she
has not appeared citing the reason of her age. Court has all due
respect for the age of witness, however, it is also true that age is
not going to down in future. In the interest of justice, oral
exemption sought on behalf of witness is allowed for today.
Last
and final opportunity is given to prosecution to examine PW-8
Omwati on NDOH.
Put up for PE and on requset, arguments on the bail
application of accused Devi Chand on 12.10.2026.
