Present : Appellant in person with proxy counsel Sh. M. Ahmed.
Sh. Ravinder Aggarwal, Ld. Counsel for Respondent with
Respondent.
Matter is listed today for arguments on appeal.
Proxy Counsel for Appellant submits that main counsel is
not available today as he is out of station and on this ground, he is
seeking adjournment. He further submits that the matter may be referred
to the Mediation center as Appellant is interested in settlement talks.
Ld. Counsel for Respondent has vehemently opposed the
adjournment by stating that there are no chances of settlement between
the parties and appeal may be decided on merits.
In such circumstances, I have heard the arguments on
appeal as addressed by the Ld. Counsel for Respondent.
Appellant is given last and final opportunity to address his
arguments on appeal. In case of non availability of the Ld. counsels, he
has to make an alternative arrangement.
Both the parties are at liberty to file written submissions.
