Present: Appellants with counsel Sh. Narveer Dabas.
Sh. Sanjeet Kumar, counsel for the complainant. (he has
filed the vakalatnama).
Counsel for the complainant submits that he has not
received the copy of appeal.
The counsel for the appellants undertake to supply the
same.
In this case the appellants have been convicted for the
offence u/s 323/452/34 IPC vide impugned order dated 29.08.2024. They
have been granted the benefit of Probation. However, these appellants
have been directed to compensate the victims as well as to pay the cost of
prosecution.
The counsel for the complainant submitted that the
appellants may be asked to deposit the compensation and fine amount in
the court subject to outcome of the appeal.
The counsel for the appellants submitted that the appellants
will deposit the same by way of FDR in the name of the court within three
days which may be released subject to outcome of the appeal.
Let it be done and the compensation and fine amount as per
impugned order on sentence dated 29.08.2024 be deposited by way of FDR
in the name of this court which will be released subject to outcome of the
present appeal.
The counsel for the complainant seeks a date to file reply to
the appeal and argue.
At request, put up on 22.10.2024 for the said purpose.
