This is an application moved on behalf of the
applicant/accused Sonu for grant of bail.
It is submitted on behalf of the applicant/accused that he
has been falsely implicated in the present case by the police officials of
P.S. Seema Puri. Further, nothing has been recovered from the
possession of the applicant/accused. Further, the applicant/accused is
in judicial custody since 21.06.2024.

It is submitted on behalf of the prosecution that on
21.06.2024 at about 7.30 p.m. a secret information regarding selling of
Ganja by a person near CNG Pump, 70 Futa road, New Seema Puri,
Delhi was received at ANTF/Shahdara. Further, on receiving the
information, a raiding party was constituted and as per the information
the applicant was apprehended and from his possession 2.240 kg.
Ganja was recovered.

Ld. PP for the State has opposed the bail application on
the ground that the applicant/accused is a habitual offender. Further,
he may jump the bail and will not appear in the court.
The court has heard the arguments and perused the record.
In the present case the applicant/accused was arrested
with 2.240 kg. of Ganja which is just above the small quantity.
Further, the applicant/accused is in custody since 21.06.2024. Looking
into the quantity of the contraband and the custody period of the
applicant/accused, this court deems it appropriate to grant the desired
relief to him. The applicant/accused is admitted to bail on furnishing
of personal bond of Rs.10,000/- with one surety in the like amount.
