Ms. Vineeta, Ld. Counsel for accused Vachan Kumar.
Both accused Tejveer and Vachan Kumar in person.
Accused Vijay produced from JC.
On being asked, it is stated by accused Vijay that he is not in
a position to engage services of any Counsel and requested the Court to
provide a Counsel to him on expense of State.
At this stage, Sh. Nand Kishore, Enrl. No. D-1732/2010,
Ph. No. 9810759005 is appointed as Amicus Curie to represent accused
Vijay. Professional fees of Ld. Amicus Curie shall be determined at the
end of trial of the case.
Ld. Addl. PP for the State has opened the case of
prosecution by describing the charge brought out against all the accused
and has referred to the list of prosecution witnesses and their statements
u/s 161 Cr.P.C. and the documents annexed to the chargesheet.
Put up for consideration on charge on 05.07.2024.
Issue notice to IO for clarification regarding CCTV footage
date fixed.
