SC No. 101/2024
State Vs. Rajan Chaudhary
(applicant/accused Vikas Bhadoriya)
FIR No. 698/2023
P.S: Harsh Vihar
u/s 307/34 IPC
17.02.2026
File taken up today on bail application of
applicant/accused Vikas Bhadoriya.
Present: Sh. Parmod Kumar, Ld. Addl. PP for State.
Sh. Mahener Singh, Ld. counsel for applicant/accused
Vikas Bhadoriya.
IO/SI Rahul Ranjan.
The present application has been filed on behalf of
applicant/accused Vikas Bhadoriya seeking
interim bail for one
month on the ground of marriage of his cousin younger brother
namely Shivam scheduled for 20.02.2026. Reply filed by IO
verifying the factum of marriage.
Arguments heard.
1. Ld. Counsel for applicant submits that marriage of
applicant’s cousin brother is scheduled for 20.02.2026 and
functions have started since yesterdady; applicant’s presence
is necessary in the marriage function(s) being elder of the
groom. It is also argued that earlier also, applicant was
granted interim bail for 30 days by Hon’ble High Court of
Delhi and after expiry of the said period, applicant timely

surrendered in jail. Therefore, he submits that applicant be
admitted on interim bail for one month.
2. Application is opposed by Ld. Addl. PP submitting
that as per the reply filed by the IO, the groom is neither the
real brother nor the first cousin of the applicant but he is a
distinct relative and groom’s own real brothers are available
to make all the necessary marriage arrangements; he also
submits that earlier, the applicant was admitted on interim
bail by the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi for his own
marriage but not for the marriage of any relative. Thus, it is
prayed that the present application be dismissed.
3. Arguments considered.
4. As per the reply filed by the IO, applicant is a distinct
relative of the groom whose own real brothers apart from
other family members are available to make the necessary
arrangements in the marriage, allegations against the
applicant are found to be serious. In the totality of facts and
circumstances, the court is not inclined to grant interim bail
to the applicant. Hence, the present application is hereby
dismissed.
Nothing stated herein above shall tantamount to the
expression of opinion on merits of the case.
Copy of this order be sent to Jail Suptd. concerned for
information to applicant.
