Brief facts of the case are that accused and his wife
Archana were doing the work of placement in Durgar Puri and on
20.11.2022 at about 07:45 pm at H.No. 69, Second Floor, Sushila
Garden, Durga Mandir Wali Gali, Mandoli Extn., Delhi, accused
committed the murder of his wife Archana by way of strangulating her
neck. It further revealed that accused Yogesh Kumar surrendered
himself by stating that he killed/murdered his wife by way of putting
pressure on his neck and thereafter, strangulating her by way of
putting chunni on his neck. As per postmortem report No. 1932/2022,
injured Archana was declared brought dead and caused of death is
Asphyxia as a result of antemortem strangulation by ligature.
Thereafter, after completion of investigation, charge
sheet in the present case was filed against accused Yogesh Kumar.
Prima facie case for the offences under Section 302 IPC
is made out against accused person namely Yogesh Kumar.

Accordingly, charge has been framed against accused
person namely Yogesh Kumar, to which he pleaded not guilty and
claimed trial.
Now to come up for PE on 11.09.2023.
Witnesses DO, Ghanshyam Sharma and Lalit Sharma be
summoned for the next date of hearing.
