Present : Sh. Sanjay Kumar Pawar, Advocate for the plaintiff with

Process issued to the defendant, vide order dated
20.03.2024, through the O/o Ld. Principal District & Sessions Judge,
District Bhojpur, Bihar has been received back un-served, with the
report that the premises of the defendant was found locked.
An application has been moved on behalf of the plaintiff,
u/o V Rule 20 CPC, for service of the defendant, by substituted
means, (Registered as I.A. No. 01/24).
Submissions of the Ld. Counsel for the plaintiff are
heard on this application.
In view of the submissions of the Ld. Counsel for the
plaintiff and in view of the report received from the O/o Ld. Principal
District & Sessions Judge, District Bhojpur, Bihar, it appears that the
defendant cannot be served by ordinary means. Therefore, in the
interest of justice, the present application is hereby allowed.
The defendant be served by substituted means, by way of
publication, in the National Newspaper, “The Hindu”, and in Hindi
Newspaper, “Hari Bhoomi”, having circulation in District Bhojpur,
Bihar, on filing of PF and deposition of publication charges, by the

plaintiff, for the next date of hearing. The I.A No. 01/24 is disposed
off accordingly.
