IO has brought the CD player. Ld. Counsel for accused
submits that he has not received copy of the CD in compliance under
Section 207 Cr. PC before the Trial Court. Ld. Chief PP denies this
fact stating that the CD is one of the document in the list of documents
filed alongwith the chargesheet and such an objection should have
been raised by the accused before the court of Ld. MM, who was
supposed to make compliance of the provisions of Section 207 Cr. PC
and was required to supply the deficient documents / CD to the
accused. Though, the request of the counsel for accused is not
maintainable at this stage before this court, however, in the interest of
justice, IO has supplied another copy of the CD to the accused today
in the court. CD is played on the court computer with the help of the
CD player brought by the IO.
PW-8 HC Naresh, Crime Team is examined and
discharged.
Previous cost of Rs.700/- is paid to PW-6 Sajjaudin, who
is present for his cross-examination. However, adjournment is
requested by counsel for the accused. The same is granted, subject to
payment of cost of Rs.1,400/-, to be paid to the witness on the next
date towards the cost for today. Put up for RPE on 13.11.2024.
