Matter is listed for CE at 12.30 pm.
Ld. Counsel for complainant submits that the present matter alongwith two other
connected matters has been settled for a total sum of Rs 15 Lacs. The accused was supposed to pay Rs
6.5 Lac till date out of which, the accused has paid only Rs. 2,55,000/-.
Vide order dated 24.09.2024, accused has been given time to make the payment as per
the settlement agreement, however the matter will continue to proceed on merits and as and when the
Complainant receives the settlement amount, the Complainant will withdraw the present complaint.
Ld. Proxy Counsel for the accused submits that the main counsel has recently been
engaged in the present matter.
Fresh vakalatanama filed on behalf of the accused. Taken on record.
Ld. Proxy Counsel for accused seeks an adjournment as the main counsel is not
available to cross examine the Complainant today.
Allowed only for today.
