/TPDDL.
CW-1 Sh. Satish Kumar and CW-2 Sh. Rohit Kumar Sahi
have been examined by the complainant in pre-summoning evidence in
support of its complaint filed under section 135 of the Electricity
Act,2003 alleging the commission of theft of electricity.
CW-1 Sh. Satish Kumar is authorised representative of the
complainant company and he has relied upon the complaint and the
documents Ex.CW1/1 to Ex.CW1/3.
CW-2 Sh. Rohit Kumar Sahi, who was working as Senior
Officer with the complainant company. He was member of the joint
raiding team which inspected the premises of the accused on 05.07.2023
and has relied upon the documents Ex.CW2/1 to Ex.CW2/6.
It is alleged that at the time of joint inspection by the raiding
team of TPDDL, accused was found indulged in direct illegal tapping of
phase and neutral from TPDDL IC Phase and Neutral terminal of meter
no. 44143278 which is energised from pole no. HT519-8/12 by
deliberately tampering the meter box seals and meter terminal seals and
created illegal joint at incoming terminal of phase and neutral through
illegal wires which were further connected to the internal wiring of the

premises for running the recorded load, one TPDDL meter was found at
site and illegal wire was removed and seized.
Thus, on the basis of the alleged aforesaid facts, there are
sufficient grounds to proceed against accused Vinod Kumar and accused
Ved Singh for the offence punishable U/s. 135 r/w 151 of the Electricity
Act 2003 of the Electricity Act.
Accordingly, accused Vinod Kumar and accused Ved Singh
be summoned for 04.10.2025 on filing of PF through complainant
company.
