PW8 Pradeep is present and his chief was deferred on
18.03.2026 as assistance of IO was required. However, Insp.
Bhupender Kumar SHO Pahar Ganj has sent a request for his
exemption on the ground of his personal appearance before the
court of Sh. Naresh Kumar Laka, Ld. DJ, Central Distt. Tis
Hazari. The record reveals that the IO has not attended the
proceedings on the previous date also. The testimony of the
witness was deferred due to non-appearance of the IO and it was
stated that he was busy in law and arrangement duty in and
around Jhandewalan Temple, Pahar Ganj. Today he is busy
attending another matter at Tis Hazari.
This is a murder case u/s 302/341/34 IPC pertaining to
the year 2024. Both the accused are in custody. Due to non-
appearance of the IO, the trial of the case is being retarted.

Notice be issued to the IO to appear in person through
DCP concerned.
DCP to ensure presence of the IO on the next date so
that the trial of the case may proceed further.
PWs Pradeep and Anil stand bound down for the next
date of hearing.
Put up for PE on 23.05.2026.
Counsel for the accused persons requests for
adjourning the bail matter for 23.05.2026 only. At request, the
bail application is also listed for 23.05.2026.
