Fresh criminal appeal received by way of assignment. It be
checked and registered.
Present: Sh. Hitender Joshi, Ld. Counsel for appellant.
Present appeal is against the judgment dt.
06.05.2025 and order on sentence dt.17.07.2025 whereby the
appellant has been convicted U/s. 138 N.I. Act. As per order on
sentence, the appellant has been sentenced to undergo simple
imprisonment of two months alongwith a fine of Rs.6,90,000/-
which shall be payable to the complainant and in default of
payment of fine, convict shall further undergo simple
imprisonment for a period of six months.
Submissions on suspension of sentence heard.
Subject to deposit of 20% of the compensation
amount within 60 days from today as per the order on sentence in
form of DD, in the name of Ld. Principal District and Sessions
Judge, N/W, Rohini and upon furnishing the personal bond in the
sum of Rs.30,000/- with one surety of the like amount, the order
on sentence is suspended till disposal of appeal.
Seven days time is granted to appellant to furnish
bail bonds.
Issue notice of the present appeal to the respondent
on filing of PF for 27.11.2025.
Copy of the order be given dasti.
