Fresh criminal appeal received by way of assignment. It be checked
and registered.
Present: Sh. Rajender Kumar, Ld. Counsel for appellants
alongwith both appellants.
Present appeal is preferred against the judgment
dt.29.02.2024 and order on sentence dt.16.04.2025 whereby the
appellants have been convicted in case FIR No.693/2018 for offence
u/s 379/411 IPC. As per order on sentence, both the appellants have
been sentenced with simple imprisonment for 4 months and fine of Rs.
5,000/- each and 15 days simple imprisonment in default for offence
u/s 379 IPC. Further, both the appellants have been sentenced with
simple imprisonment for 2 months and fine of Rs. 3,000/- each and 15
days simple imprisonment in default for offence u/s 411 IPC.
Submissions on suspension of sentence heard.
Upon furnishing the personal bond in the sum of
Rs.15,000/- with one surety of the like amount, the order on sentence
is suspended till disposal of appeal.
Personal bonds furnished and accepted till NDOH.
Notice of appeal has been served upon the State through
Ld. Addl. PP today itself.
Appeal be put up for arguments on 22.07.2025.
Copy of the order be given dasti.
