This is a suit for recovery of money against the
supply of goods. Perusal of invoices show that the invoice
has been issued by Imperial Decor Industries (Punjab)
having address of Punjab itself. The defendant is also a
firm of Ludhiana Punjab. The goods have been supplied
within the state of Punjab.
Upon inquiry, it is stated by Ld. Counsel for
plaintiff that Imperial Decor Industries (Punjab) is having a
distinct GST Number. Accordingly, another query has been
raised with respect to the territorial jurisdiction of this
court. Ld. Counsel for plaintiff has sought time to address
submissions on the same.
