It is submitted by Ld. Counsel for plaintiff that despite
payment of 50% bill amount in terms of order dated 27.09.2024, electricity
has not been restored by the Defendant.
It is however submitted by the AR of the Defendant that meter
cost and meter testing fee of Rs. 5421/- and Rs. 3100/- respectively, as
reflected in bill dated 24.07.2024, has not been deposited as order also
mentions payment of further bills.
Ld. Counsel for plaintiff further submits that as per order
dated 27.09.2024, he is liable to pay only 50 % of the amount and not the
whole amount. The same is vehemently opposed by AR of TPDDL.
Heard. Perusal of order dated 27.09.2024 reveals that
electricity shall be restored after payment of 50% of bill dated 24.07.2024.
Thus, Plaintiff is directed to pay 50% of the same (meter cost and meter
testing fee) within 10 days from today. Defendant is directed to restore the
electricity within 5 days of payment.
Be taken up for further proceedings on 04.12.2024.
