complainant.
Sh. Neeraj Kumar, Ld. counsel for the accused.
Matter is listed for framing of notice.
However, the accused has not appeared before this court
today.
An exemption application has been moved on behalf of
the accused by Ld. counsel for the accused.
Heard, perused and considered.
No reason whatsoever has been stated in the exemption
application.
Ld. counsel for the accused has orally submitted that the
accused has traveled to his home town and has no Internet connection.
He has also stated that this is the first date of hearing of the case.
This court is of the considered opinion that the facility of
digital courts have been provided to the litigants in order to give them
the facility to appear before the court virtually. No grounds are made
to allow the exemption application.
Consequently, the application is dismissed with a cost of
Rs. 100/- to be deposited with DLSA (North) Rohini Courts, Delhi.
The accused is directed to remain present virtually or
physically on each and every subsequent date of hearing.
Put up on 16.10.2024 for framing of notice.
