Reply to the present appeal has been filed on behalf
of respondent. Same is taken on record. Copy supplied.
It is pointed out by Ld. Counsel for appellant that an
application for waiving of 20% of compensation amount is
pending for adjudication.
Ld. Counsel for respondent has submitted that the
application is without any merit as appellant has taken ground of
fire in the year 2014 which is not at all maintainable and the
application liable to be dismissed.
Ld. Counsel for appellant seeks time to file some
additional documents with respect to afore-mentioned
application.
Submissions heard. Request is considered and
allowed.
At this stage, Ld. Counsels for the parties submit
that the matter may kindly be referred to the Mediation Centre,
North District, Rohini Court, Delhi to explore the possibility of
settlement.
Accordingly, both the parties are directed to appear
before the Mediation Centre, North District, Rohini Court, Delhi
on 22.07.2026 at 02:00 PM.
