The undersigned is working as Link Judge for the Court
of Ld. ASJ-02, North District, Rohini Courts, Delhi, which is a vacant
Court.
Present: Sh. Ranjit Kumar, Ld counsel for the appellant.
Sh. Bhushan Raina, AR of the respondent.
1. Heard. Record perused. This revision petition is directed
against judgment of conviction and order on sentence of Ld. MM u/s
138 NI Act.
2. Perusal of the record reveals that a petition u/s 482 Cr. PC
before Hon’ble High Court seeking compliance of Section 148 NI Act
for depositing of 25% of the cheque amount has been filed by the
respondent and the matter is now listed before Hon’ble High Court for
03.02.2025. However, it is fairly submitted by Ld. Counsel for the
appellant that there is no stay so far as proceedings before this Court
are concerned.
3. Respondent seeks time to file reply to the present appeal.
Same be filed at least 7 days before next date of hearing with a copy to
the appellant.
4. Put up for filing reply as well as for arguments on the
appeal on 31.01.2025 at 2:00 pm.
