Sh. BN Gaur, Ld. LAC for defendant.
1. An adjournment is sought by Ld. Lac for defendant on the
ground that defendant is bedridden.
2. Perusal of the order sheet dt. 03.06.2026 reveals that an
opportunity was granted to defendant to cross examine the
witness. ON that day itself defendant sought an
opportunity to be provided with LAC.
3. Today, Sh. BN Gaur, Ld. LAC appears and submits that he
has been recently engaged and defendant could not appear
on account of his illness. Thus, he need four weeks time to
cross examine the witness. Opposed by Ld. Counsel for
plaintiff on the ground that defendant is habitual and
chronic complainant and make false and frivolous
complaint against the advocates.
4. Heard. Considered.
5. I am of the view that last opportunity be granted to witness
to cross examine the witness and defendant is further
directed to produce medical record showing that he
underwent a heart surgery on 31.07.2024.
6. The defendant is also settled with the cost of Rs. 2500/- to
be paid to DLSA, North, Rohini on NDOH for delaying the
present proceedings.
