File taken up today on an application moved on
behalf of the applicant Suraj Kala for release of FDRs amount
alongwith interest to her.
Present:- Applicant with counsel Ms. Mausam Sahni.
Heard on the applications. Report of Nazir perused.
It is stated that award in the present matter was
passed on 20.08.2014 and certain amount has already been
released to the applicant as per the directions of the court. It is
further stated that vide order dated 22.08.2014, remaining
amount was directed to be kept in the form of FDR for a period
of 7 years. It is prayed that since time period of 7 years has
already been completed and the said FDR has already been
matured on 18.08.2021, the entire proceed of the said FDR be
transferred in the bank account of the applicant.
A report from Bank Manager, SBI, Rohini Court
Branch alongwith copy of FDR made in the present case filed.
The perusal of copy of aforesaid FDR would also show that date
of maturity is 18.08.2021.
In view of aforesaid facts and circumstances and the
fact that FDR made in the present case has already been matured
on 18.08.2021, Branch Manager, SBI, Rohini Court Branch is
directed to encash the aforesaid FDR in favour of the applicant,
on completing necessary formalities as per rules and by directly
transferring the total proceed of her FDR in her saving bank
account, as per rules. With these directions, present application is
disposed off. Copy dasti. Be tagged with main case file.
File be consigned to record room.
