File taken up today on an application moved on behalf of
the applicants/petitioners Bajrang Lal and Suman Sharma for release
of their FDRs amount alongwith interest to them.
Present:- Applicants with counsel Sh. Vishwjeet Dev.
Heard on the applications. Report of Nazir perused.
It is stated that award in the present matter was passed
on 24.10.2010 and certain amount has already been released to the
applicants and remaining amount was directed to be kept in FDR for a
period of 5 years, as per the directions passed in the aforesaid award.
It is prayed that since time period of 5 years has already been
completed and the said FDRs have already been matured on
10.03.2016, the entire proceed of the said FDRs be released to the
applicants through their saving bank accounts. Applicants have also
annexed copies of their FDRs.
A report from Bank Manager, SBI, Rohini Court Branch
filed.
The perusal of copy of aforesaid FDRs would show that
date of maturity of the same is 10.03.2016.
In view of aforesaid facts and circumstances and the fact
that FDRs made in the present case have already been matured on
10.03.2016, Branch Manager, SBI, Kishanganj, Old Rohtak Road,
Delhi, is directed to encash the aforesaid FDRs in favour of the
applicants through their respective saving bank accounts, on
completing necessary formalities as per rules. With these directions,
present application is disposed off. Copy dasti. Be tagged with main
case file. File be consigned to record room.
