FIR NO.62/2025
PS: Crime Branch- North Delhi
08.07.2025
Present : Sh. A.K. Mishra, Ld. Chief PP for the State.
IO SI Amit Yadav through VC.
Accused Sher Khan @ Sheru in JC.
Ms. Malvika Kulkarni, counsel for accused.
Heard on the application moved on behalf of the
accused for providing separate lodgment to the accused in Rohini
lockup. I have also perused the record received from Mr. Sharad
Kohli, In-charge, Rohini Lockup, who has stated that there is no
record regarding any such incident as alleged by the accused.
Nevertheless, whenever the accused feels threatened or has any
apprehension of his safety and security from other UTP, he may
inform the lockup staff immediately. It is also stated that the
lockup has limited place and limited resources of man power. On
an average 230 UTPs arrive daily at Rohini lockup. He has also
submitted that the court may direct that the Superintendent Jail to
highlight the same in such a case in red ink so that he may be
separated from other UTPs in jail van and lockup Kharza.
In the facts and circumstances and in view of the
allegations made by the accused, it would be appropriate if he is
made to appear through VC till further orders.
Arguments on charge addressed. It has been stated
by counsel for accused that Videography of search and seizure
have not been supplied. Ld. Chief PP submits that the IO who is
-- 1 of 2 --
present through VC may be directed to appear physically for
supply of the deficient documents.
Put up for arguments on charge on 26.07.2025.
Copy of order be sent to Superintendent Jail
concerned.
