Present: Mr. Vipin Tripathi, Ld. Counsel for the applicant.
The instant application has been moved on behalf of
applicant/injured for directions for calling the status report qua the DAR
in FIR No. 793/2023 PS Mahendra Park and it is submitted by the Ld.
counsel for the applicant/injured that neither the investigation has been
completed in this case by the IO nor the DAR/charge-sheet has been
filed.
Perusal of the record reveals that on 07.06.2026, a written
report was received under the signature of Addl. DCP-I N/W wherein it
is mentioned that the DAR in the present matter is ready and shall be
filed on or before the NDOH, however, thereafter, two dates have been
given and the IO/SHO have failed to file the DAR despite notices issued
by this court and the written explanation given by Addl. DCP-I N/W.
In these circumstances, DCP N/W is directed to appear in
person on the NDOH and to explain the conduct of police officials and
the circumstances as to why the DAR has not been filed in this case in
view of the above-said facts and circumstances.
Be put up on 19.08.2026.
Copy of this order be sent to DCP concerned for
information and necessary action.
